Alexis D. Grant was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, PA. She holds a B.A. in Drawing and Painting as well as a B.S. in Art Education from the Pennsylvania State University. Alexis received an MFA in Drawing and Painting from California College of the Arts in 2006. She has exhibited her paintings in the Bay Area, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Aside from her studio practice she teaches art to special ed children at a small school in Marin County. She currently lives and works in the Bay Area.
